Garden Centres
Trials trying to find the right flowers for a beautiful garden.
I have a 16 x 16 border (lawn area). I want to fill with beautiful flowers. I have half of the area filled with perrenials. I had some Canadaian Tire money so I thought I would go and buy some more flowers and soil. Well, when I got there I was pretty disgusted with their garden set up. They had nothing. It was like they just threw some leftover crap together and put it outside. Their flowers were literally half dead. The only reason I bought some of those flowers was because 1) I wanted to see if I could save them 2) I had that stupid Canadian Tire money that doesn’t really add up to much. I havn’t planted the flowers yet. It’s too early. I’m afraid of the frost and I’d like to make them a little stronger before I uproot them to their new home. I love looking out my window and seeing the beautiful flourish of colour and I take pride in knowing that my hard work has finally paid off. The first year i decided to plant flowers My little sister gave me some sunflowers that she had started growing for her flower garden. The sunflowers turned out to be really beautiful and healthy. I had sunflowers that were 6 feet tall. Each sunflower had more than one head on each stalk. I go to different stores to get a better selection of flowers for example I went to the superstore garden centre their flowers were so healthy. I bought two of their perrenials. I also bought 5 bags of soil for $10. That was I thought a great deal. The staff at the superstore garden were really helpful unlike Canadian tire where you literally couldn’t find anyone to help you. That I find is the most frustrating part of shopping for the right flowers. They should have the knowledge and common sense that maybe the customers might need help in choosing the right plants or the customer might value another opinion other than their own.
