Deer

We are all familiar with that song.

Deer are animals that have an equal number of toes on each hoof.

There are no other animals on earth that have antlers. In addition to that antlers are the fastest growing living tissue on earth.

A deer can run faster than 40 miles per hour. This would be considered speeding on many residential roads.

The average deer only lives for two decades.

Deer do not hibernate but they do slow their metabolism during the winter which allows them to eat only a third of their normal diet.

Deer are the second level of the food chain as herbivores.
