Coconut is a tropical plant which is rich of benefit.
You could say coconut tree is a tropical plant with the richest benefits. Not just its water and its fruit flesh, but the skin on the inside part that form of husks and shell, the tree trunk and leaves has the benefits of each and can be utilized in a variety of its conditions. Plus, coconut is the most easily grown plant. Even often grows by itself not only near the beach as it is commonly encountered, but can also be found on the land which away from the coast.

1. Coconut Water
Besides repel thirst, coconut water also contains an excellent natural electrolytes to replace lost body fluids because it contains sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium. Coconut water is also low in fat, calories and sugar that can help the process of weight loss diet is also good for people with heart disease and diabetes. Its laurate acid content is good to overcome indigestion. In addition, coconut water is a natural remedy for urinary tract infections. Coconut water is also good for helping childbirth process and make the baby born with bushy hair and clean skin. In essence, coconut water is good for your body metabolism. Beside drinked, coconut water can also be used for the outside body such as for healing burns and acne.
2. Fruit Flesh
Coconut meat can be used in various forms. A common one is young coconut meat dredged and placed with the coconut water as a beverage that could encountered either as the roadside drinks or in the luxury hotels.
Generally in Asia, grated coconut meat can be used as a mixture of a variety of foods, both main meals and snacks. Additionally, grated coconut meat is also we know in general squeezed to take its water called coconut milk which is also one of groceries for many kind of dishes. In traditional household, coconut milk can also be further processed into coconut oil by heating it to separate its pulp and oil. The oil from this coconut milk can then be used as groceries, hair oil and body moisturizer.
However, in industrial field, coconut oil which is also known as cooking oil is processed from the coconut that dried in particular. The dried coconut is called copra. The process of making copra is handled by special industry. The result will be sold to other industries that would process into cooking oil. These industries are listed as one of major source of income for some coconut-producing countries.
