These winter blooming houseplants will add a little sunshine to those dreary and seemingly endless winter days.
African Violet

Native to Tanzania, the African violet blooms all year and comes in a variety of colors
Amaryllis

Also known as Naked Ladies or a Belladonna Lilly, the Amaryllis produces beautiful 6 sepals (petals)
Poinsettias

Always a Christmas favorite, Poinsettias come in a wide assortment of vibrant colors.
Kalanchoe

Kalanchoe is a succulent that produces small waxy flowers in many colors and is extremely hardy.
Tea Roses

Tea Roses are the perfect potted plant. They come in every color imaginable and can be transplanted in the flower garden in the spring.
Clivia

Clivia are a non-woody evergreen plant and sometimes called Bush Lilly.
Begonias

Because there are so many hybrid types of Begonias, each type has its own ideal growing conditions. If you are not quite sure what conditions are best for your indoor Begonias, you can check here.
Paperwhites

Paperwhites are a member of the Daffodil family and are a very popular forcing bulb.
Christmas Cactus

The Christmas Cactus comes in many vibrant colors and blooms for 6-8 weeks right around Christmas time. Christmas Cactus can be propagated very easily as well.
Orchid

The Orchid Family is the largest family of all flowering plants.
Azalea

Azaleas are part of the Rhododendron family and make wonderful houseplants.
Cyclamen

One of my personal favorites, Cyclamen is sometimes called Primrose or Persian Violet, although it is related to neither one.
