When Should Your Child Get a Cellphone
Giving your child a cellphone could be good idea.
Has your child ever asked you for a cellphone? It might be a good idea to give him one. Most kids in sixth grade have a cellphone, while virtually everybody in seventh grade has one.
Now, I know what your thinking: they’re gonna call 911, they’re going to call prank calls etc. Well that’s not necessarily true. When you trust him to have a cellphone he will sense that trust, and honor it.
Some kids think that they’re not cool if they don’t have a cellphone. And they’re right. 80% of children who are considered “cool” have cellphones. A cellphone is the key to socialites. It connects the user to their friends, family, and even their teachers.
So next time your child asks you for a cellphone, actually consider it instead if just blowing it off.

my brother got a cellphone when he was 13. i think that’s the right age for parents to consider giving the trust to their sons and daughters to have a cellphone. Nowadays, people are getting frank calls, nuisance calls etc and a child can’t handle that easy unless he or she knows how to use a reverse phone finder to discover who is calling his/her number.
