Study Ball for Your Child: Gadget to Make Him/Her Study

I remember my childhood days when my parents use to advise me over studying and tried putting some restrictions to make me study.

It is just now that I was going through google search and came to know about a very bizarre gadget that is going to take over responsibilities of parents now.

Let it be some exams or some deadline preparations we tend to get distracted easily and miss our target.

This gadget known as Study Ball gadget is made up of durable steel chains, LED indicator and weights around 9 kg. Once you decide that you want to study for a particular time, program the study ball for that particular time and tie study ball to your ankle and there you get started.

Study ball will display the time left for your study duration and you will not be able to unchain yourself till the study duration is over. With the weight of study ball it also becomes hard to avoid studying and move around. Though, you cannot set time more than 4 hours of study in this gadget and has an emergency key (probably for parents) to be used to unchain this gadget.

These details just made me smile and kept thinking about how funny and different ideas human mind is stuffed with to come up with these ideas.

Anyways, when I informed about this gadget to my friends they had lot of arguments and critics for this gadget. What do you think?
