Parenthood: Not for the Fainthearted

Nurture a child well, they hold the future world of mankind.

Those tiny darlings, brought to earth by the stork, have a way of tugging at our heart strings with their dimpled toothless smiles and big, bright eyes! They are vulnerable little people, who are dependent on their parents for survival and guidance. Each is born with much potential that can be nurtured or stunted, according to his or her individual upbringing.

This is why parenthood is such a very important and special job, and not at all for the fainthearted! A child’s first impressions of this world are rooted in the perspectives of their parents. These early impressions carry over into their subconscious, which follow them into adulthood.

There is an old saying brought to mind that goes…” The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world!” I would add to this a thought of my own. It would be..” The teaching that builds character, also builds a society!”
