If We Only Knew

     As we grow up, our first thoughts of life are just how much fun can we have, we run around an play with all the toys that our parents get us, watch almost anything we want on TV so that we behave when they want some quiet time, an things are basically handed down to us “on a platter” as the saying goes. 

The teen years start to creep in an we sit an think about the future.  Will it include College, cars, jewelry, at some point a wife or husband, kids.  We might go out an grab a part time job for a little bit of gas money, or to have a few bucks on us to grab a bite here or there with the gang.  Or the all important “First” date that comes around, of course if your a guy you want to impress the girl, an if your a girl, you want to look your best for the guy.

As we hit the big “21″  we think,  party time!!!  Never really thinking about much except to go out an have some fun.  We hit the amusement parks, take vacations, even in College, there is so much going on, you just are thinking of one word most of the time, an it is “Fun”. 

The time comes around you met a gal or a guy an you start dating, all the cuddles, kisses, hand holding, you sometimes think there is not a care in the world, you might have your candle light dinners, going out to the movies.  We do not really sit an think about how life will be in the future.  We do sit an have daydreams, or as most have called them, our “fantasies”.  We dream about the day we will get married, an YEP, the girls do go to the extreme at times that they will glance through a catalog an pick out the wedding dress that they hope they will get married in one day.  You wonder about having kids as you see someone go by with a little baby, “oh how cute” you think it is.

The day comes you do get engaged, you think of it as all fun an giggles as you plan your wedding, depending on your budget, you might go all out,  OR, if your on a tight one, you start to stress a little on how you can make it the best you can on few dollars.  The easiest choice would be to go to city hall, or even Nevada, you lost a lot of the luster, but is is quick an cheap.  So your planning your wedding, an you are all excited that you will be finally moving out of mom an dads place, into a place of your own, not thinking too far ahead, just living in the excitement day by day.
