Kids School Lunches
It’s almost time for school to start again and time to make the kids school lunches. Children are notoriously picky about school lunches but don’t tear your hair out yet. There are good healthy foods choices that are delicious. It might take a little coaching on your part but kids will like it better and it’s healthier than a baloney sandwich and a bag of chips.
Making lunches can be a drag but you do want to pack a healthy midday meal. Your kids need brain food like fish, chicken, berries and spinach. Kids also need energy foods like whole-grain bread, cheese, peanut butter, yogurt, apple slices and raisins. And don’t forget milk for calcium. I know kids don’t want to see it their lunch boxes but smart moms have their own little ways.

Thank you for these wonderful lunch ideas! Even now, it is easy to get into a rut where the same two, maybe three lunch ideas are prepared. It’s so much better when there are more options to choose from. It makes lunch much more enjoyable.
