How to Install Morals Into Your Kids
Follow this insightful advice to leave your children with integrity before you die and leave this earth:
1. Build a bond. If you want your children to share your values, listen to them, spend time with them and encourage them.
2. Show them how it’s done. Children do what you do, not what you tell them to do. If you want your children to act with a sense of integrity, you must set an example.
3. Teach, don’t punish. When your kid messes up, go over the incident to see what the child can learn from it.

4. Write some rules. It’s often helpful for parents to have written rules posted at home. When the children follow the rules, notice it and show appreciation. When they break the rule, discipline them with love, not guilt or anger.
5. Keep an eye on their circle of friends. Children become like the kids they hang out with. After school, steer your kids towards extra-curriculum groups that are properly supervised.

6. Maintain their brain health. Brain health determines how they think and act. Protect your children from injuries. Educate them about drug and alcohol abuse.
