A fun family day.
Spent a large amount of time in the morning working, but got out of there by 10am. The rest of the day, family time. Wife and I were snuggling through the mid afternoon, while the kids took their naps. Woke up to a nice lunch of left over BBQ, and some more than ready kids to get out of the house. A simple day of driving and shopping, Went to a thrift store, and made out fairly well. David, well, he got a large, and I mean, LARGE truck with a toy motorcycle/rider, that fits in the back. KK, of course, a bright, pink, barbie convertable. Lillian, my oldest, after much searching, snagged a loaded bag of barbie clothes I’d pulled up out of a crate of toys.
All was going well until a DQ trip turned sour. Though it was also full of laughs, as Josie turned to me and the girls and told us to hurry, we were out of time. David was only seconds from a flip out, and my wife knew it. After that, a run through the grocery store, and we were home where all things started going well again. I got the grill ready for my awesome chef of a wife to cook some GOOD burgers. Nights coming to an end, and I’ve had a most wonderful day.
Ok, so, I had a banan split today, with the family, and with that, I also drank a lot of soda. I’ve drank more soda today than in a realy long time. I think, though, since I spent the entire day, but three hours in the morning, with my family, I did ok. Day was good at least.
Water, it’s something we all need, so I should keep some in me. Next charge, to drink @ least 8 cups of water a day. Sounds simple enough, but how much water do we really drink, I doubt 8 cups.
I don’t know if I’ve told you, but we do have another member of the family, Evan. He’s still chilling in the belly of his mommy. He too enjoyed some Mountain Dew and an awesome banana split. Bet he liked it.
