One year, we all decided to bring food together for the Christmas dinner and so I decided to cook the turkey. I prepared the turkey for the oven and when I thought it was was done I took it out of the oven. The turkey was not cooked all the way through because, my bottom element burner was not working and I did not know it so, I turned the turkey over and cooked the bottom of it that way. The turkey looked done after that and I was happy but, when I took it over to my dad’s house and they cut it and found out, it was not all the way done. I was embarrassed for the turkey still had to be put in the oven for another hour.

I had come home from work and American Idol was about to come on. I was so excited because I had just come home and wanted to hear some singing and get a good laugh. My daughter was in the family room and I hollered to her to turn the TV on to American Online. . I thought she did not hear me so I kept telling it to her until she fell out laughing and said, “Mom, you are saying American Online instead of American Idol. We both fell out laughing and turned on American Idol.

When I first got married, me and my husband use to go to the grocery store together and I forgot that the pants I had on had a hole sheered on the left side like strings. I was wondering why people was looking at me so hard. One guy passed my and turned all the way around. That’s when I found out that I had put on the pants with that big hole in them on the cheek side. I had to hurry up and get there.
