Family Drowns Trying to Cross River (Video Inside)

Hurricanes and Tsunamis are becoming the norm it seems quite frequently. Mother nature is truly reeking havoc worldwide, with no signs of slowing down.
A simple picnic turned tragic in Indore at the waterfall in Patalpani. Two members of the family were lucky enough to escape mother nature’s grip to survive the torrential wave that was said to have been caused by heavy rains. Three other family members were not so fortunate: 22-year olds Chhavi and Modita and Modita’s father Chandrashekhar drowned to death when the wave swept them away. What was a usual family gathering at the Patalpani waterfall turned quickly from joy to sadness.

The title alone was sad enough. Just a shame. We have had a few drownings in this area, due to people not taking proper swimming safety precautions or just accidents. Very sad.
