Diary of a Mum of Three Children
The up’s and down’s of bringing up children.
Where to start, well I have been married for 15 years this year and we have 3 lovely children, a daughter Emma who is four and a son Harry who is two and our latest addition Kelly who is 5 months old.
I have to say at one point we didn’t think we would have any children we had been trying for 10 years and nothing failed ivf attempts the lot , and then it happened and along came Emma and from then on we haven’t looked back.
Any way back to my time so far since Kelly was born. There’s one thing I have noticed is that it is a lot harder this time round juggling the time between the three of them.
My day is near enough run to times. 6.30am Kelly and Harry are awake give them breakfast, Emma gets up when she feels like it which most time’s are between 9.00am and 10.00am any later and I’m dragging her out to which we all have to put with her bad moods until she goes to nursery.
Once breakfast is all out the way I have to get their dinner’s ready which is early for dinner 11.00am just because i have to get Emma and the rest of the kids ready to go out to school by twenty to twelve. Emma at the moment goes to afternoon nursery 12.15pm till 3.15pm. which is great has she enjoys it and Harry and Kelly get a break as well.
On the down side there is the traveling up and down to school. But at least its nearly the school holidays the time when most parents dread six weeks plus of fighting, shouting , and the mess.
Well this is Emma’s last week this week so the break from the school run stops but when she goes back my son Harry will start nursery, So even more up and down the school to come has Emma is full time and Harry will be half days . Lets not worry about that now .
At the moment harry is running around yet again with no bottoms or pants on he’s always naked from the waist down and watching the Disney junior channel i have this channel on so much i know all the songs and find my self singing along to them most days even when we are out we sometimes end up bursting into a quick tune from Mickey mouse’s clubhouse.
