Blue Ivy Carter Makes Her First Appearance!

The daughter of Jay-Z and Beyonce made her first appearance! Her proud parents shared photographs from the month-old Blue Ivy. Beyonce grinned from ear to ear as she held her bundle of joy. Certainly the superstar couple could’ve sold the photographs for a fortune to any of the major media outlets, but as always, humility is the victor once again- especially when it’s been done before. Kudos to them both for not putting a price tag on her, unlike Angelina, Brad, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Nick and Mariah Carey.The couple posted five pictures of Blue Ivy–one with Mom, and one with Dad. With each photo, Blue Ivy’s parents have left a sign reading: “We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. The Carter Family.”

There wasn’t even a glitzy magazine spread or anything, everything was kept simple- no gawking media walking all over the nursery. Regardless of the 30 Grammys between them, Beyonce and Jay-Z appear to be pretty normal people.
