Throwing a Successful Party

To throw a party, you only have to follow 4 simple steps. These steps can be remembered with the abbreviation PPSG or you can remember it by remembering “People Partying Sound Good.”

Step 1: Permission

In order to throw any kind of party, you have to have permission. If you live with your parents, you should ask them if it’s OK. Or, if you live with friends, you should ask them if they think it is fine. Or maybe if you’re renting, you have to ask your landlord, I don’t know.

Step 2: People

Before you can even have a party, you need to make sure people will actually come to your party. Ask around, send out some invitations, etc.

Step 3: Snacks

This is the part where you either search through cabinets, make something, or go buy snacks from the store. Make sure you have a variety of snacks, in case somebody doesn’t like or is allergic to a certain food. Believe it or not, most people go to parties just for the food!

Step 4: Games/Activities

Lastly, make sure you set out things for people at your party to do. This could be anything from just socializing to playing video games. Just make sure your party is fun and other people will enjoy it!
