Crazy for Babies!

Even though I’m quite stressed out about my situation (I get stressed very easily), I’m very excited about getting ready for my baby! I already have a box of newborn diapers and a stroller, some bibs, and some burp rags. I just simple cannot wait until I find out if it is a boy or girl.

If It’s a boy, my step-dad will be so excited he’ll run for the store buying boy clothes spouting about how much “I love my pawpaw”! Or something about construction as he dreams of having a little grandson to teach his carpentry skills to. XD If I don’t have a boy, I’ve got it made, as I’ll get all my niece’s old clothes and they are just sooo cute!

Also, my step-dad claims he’ll turn my niece into a tom-boy and will teach her instead. She’s already shown an enthusiasm for it! One day she was pretending to build something with some wood and hammar! Wish I had gotten some pictures of that!

I still have no idea how I am going to afford a bed, but luckily my cousin’s wife is going to give me a bassinet so I’ll have that while the baby is newborn and needs to sleep in that. My mom says to not worry, that she’s going to plan a baby shower and I should make a registry. Just wait and see what everyone is wanting/willing to gift me and that I can take care of the rest. I really do have a lot of family, and I don’t see a baby shower as a way of “give me gifts, give me gifts”. If someone really can’t afford something expensive, I understand, I can’t either! lol So a bunch of diapers will have me set for a couple months! Whoo!
