My opinion about Christening and Baptism invitations.
New babies are such a pure joy and blessing for any parent, be it the first or the fourth! As parents, we are so proud and want everything to be just right for the new addition to the family. So when it comes to sending out christening announcements, it is vital to us that it is perfectly presentable and leaves an all round good impression. It is done in honor of our precious new baby, after all?
Christenings or baptisms are always a deep and meaningful time for any family. This is the time that your baby enters the religious world of your family, isn’t it? Christenings or baptisms can vary vastly from one religion to the other but it is always a time when families want to share this very special time with family and also some close friends.
Now if you are the creative type, then no problem. Handmade christening invitations are always a first option, in my opinion. I have seen the most creative and beautiful handmade christening invitations as well as baptism cards made by moms with a creative flair. Especially ones that were made including a photograph, digitally taken, of baby’s hands and feet. The personalized and individual attentions to detail on such cards are always pleasing and quite admirable, but if you aren’t creative, like me, then you need to shop around.
There are a lot of ideas that are all wonderful and one such good idea is to have a theme. For example; to mark the holiness of the event it would be important to have a cross. It symbolizes the washing away of baby’s sins and professes faith. To symbolize life, you’d use flowers and floral designs. To symbolize love, you’d want to include hearts, of course. All of the above could, of course be in one christening event, symbolizing all of it.
Shopping around for that special Baptism invitations or christening invitations are made so much easier today with the internee at hand. You just need to search online and you will find that there are numerous sites that offer some creative and inventive cards pre-made, custom made or even giving ideas on how to make it yourself. I am a very busy Mom of four very active boys, so I just order my cards online and have always had excellent service with door to door deliveries.
