Shipping Rates of Survival Supplies

While aimlessly drifting from one survival store to the other on the internet recently I noticed that numerous people had been complaining about the venders cost of shipping survival related items. I too have experienced this dilemma predominantly with e-bay stores. It never stops astounding me how many people can turn out to be extremely ravenous during periods when they should feel most generous. These people ought to be delighted that in this economically strapped economy we are purchasing our items from them. You can go to e-bay and search for any survival associated item and immediately see a vast assortment of prices for that item.

These people ought to be delighted that in this economically strapped economy we are purchasing our items from them. Now one could easily comprehend a dollar or two difference but when you notice 10 to 20 dollars disparity you have to wonder. You quickly inspect the advertised item and see that they are exactly comparable. Now you are really puzzled.
Upon reading further you discern that the cheaper article has an outrageous shipping fee. Free enterprises are one thing but to take undo advantage of people is another. I do not see how these people manage to remain in business when they charge such excessive shipping rates as they do.
In view of this problem it is imperative that when you purchase anything online you certainly should check the shipping rates that the company uses. Places that are in the same town may charge as much as double the normal rate. This particularly applies to the cheaper items. Obviously this is how they attract a potential customer’s attention.
One item that I looked at was going for $18.95 with shipping priced at $4.95. I continued to review the various ads on e-bay only to discover the same thing being sold for $9.95. WOW, I thought what a savings until I noticed the shipping rate for the item was $22.50. In reality I was paying more for the cheaper priced item. When you include the shipping you simply do not always save money.
My advice to all survivalists looking for a good deal is to write to the person and explain that you were planning on purchasing or bidding on their products until you noticed the overpriced shipping costs. If enough of us do this perhaps this will make them stop and rethink their rates.
