Are you wondering how to make a home made thermos or are you a kid in school you is to lazy to use his brain and just searching on the net on how to make one for a school project.Well don’t worry kids I won’t tell you’re teachers! In this article I outline the basic steps on how to make a simple, easy and effective thermos. Which should give you B+ (not guaranteed).
Make a plan of how you are going to make you’re thermos. The thermos i made wasn’t that effective but here is a plan of one. Take note this isn’t the same thermos plan that i am going to show you how to make this was done by my kid for his school project, therefore, i will show you how to make a better one.
See how a wide variety of material was used for this thermos and your probably thinking more material the better. Well no your wrong, the more material doesn’t affect the thermos its the material you choose. Now what i would recommend to use as a container in the thermos would be a plastic bottle, like those special type that you can heat up to drastic temperatures. Once you have this, you will need to create a lid for your thermos. This will need a ton of foil paper. Note you can get it from your local grocery or dollar store. Then create a lid by layering the foil paper vertically and then horizontally over the top of the container. Next create another container in which your previous container will sit in. So a container over the container where the water goes. Finally put the hot water inside your thermos and check the temperature. After that is done l;eave it someplace and relax for a few hours and voila when you go back an check the temperature for your thermos it should be only a few degrees less than how it was in the beggining. Note! results may vary.
