I love to cooking. I am always innovating with recipes and cooking methods. I find cooking therapeutic! It is an extremely enjoyable activity for me. And I have hundreds and hundreds of recipes which can be easily typed out, formatted and published on Triond.

Because recipes come so naturally to me, whenever I want to write an article in a hurry I publish one of my many Recipes.Today was one of those days where in an effort to make up for lost time(haven’t been able to post the last couple of days), I published two recipes-one a vegetable and yogurt curry and the other asparagus soup.

I do get views and comments for my recipes. But are they really appreciated, I wonder? Which makes me mull over the title to this post: Why post Recipes on Triond? Tell me, dear reader, what’s your opinion on this.

  1. I’ve only published one recipe on Triond & it didn’t get many views. I don’t know why, that’s just the way it is I guess.

  2. I think people should post whatever they want to. I love to cook, but, I rarely post recipes – I take a pinch of this and that to cook. That’s hard to translate into an article. :)

I think one way to get more attention to recipes is to write a story to go with it, like, how the recipe was used at a party or a favorite on family night – just something to gain the interest of the readers, rather than just the recipe.

But, if you like recipes, keep doing what you do, but, if want more readers then you may have to add a little strategy. :) Hope this helped – didn’t mean it to be so long.

  3. I read recipes. I even post them to StumbleUpon so I can find them easily later. I have posted a couple of recipes so far. I don’t get rich but they do attract comments and I think recipe-swapping is a good way for writers to reinforce their social connections.
