Stove Top Recipes for Summer: Quick Shrimp
Here you don’t have to heat your kitchen and don’t need a grill for the person I forgot who that said a recipe looked good but didn’t have a grill. This is also very easy to make.
This is a recipe from a cookbook called “summer recipes” July 1994.
2 Tablespoon margarine or butter
1 pound uncooked fresh medium shrimp shelled deveined
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tablespoon finely chopped onion
2 Tablespoons chopped fresh basil
Over medium high heat melt margarine in a large skillet. Put in shrimp then add onion cook and stir 3 to 4 minutes or until shrimp are a light pink in color. Add basil mix well Put on Parmesan cheese by sprinkling.

This is a delicious recipe and one similar to what I prepared last night for dinner. I have a beautiful and lush basil plant and just pick off the leaves when I need them!
