In the kitchen, you don’t need big and sophisticated items to make work easier. Those small tiny equipments also make work bearable. So what are those items, that one must have in the kitchen?

The grater

To get fine pieces of things like onions, the grater comes in handy. There is no need to chop and cut, it does them nice and fast. And for those that bake fruit cakes, it helps in making rind say of lemons, oranges or even tomatoes, so the next time you are in the market, get a grater.

Potato slicer

This is an adjustable machine depending on the size of cut Irish potatoes one needs. It has provision for every thing and the moderate size you need for potatoes.

The egg whisker

It does not have to be electric and complicated it can be as simple as they get with a handle to hold as you beat the eggs. However there are those whose handle is rolled after the beater is vertically put into the egg mixture and the faster you turn the handle, the faster it gets. The egg beater also comes in handy when it comes to blending cake mixtures.

Chopping board

It is wooden in nature and robust enough to withstand chopping. So when it comes to beef, chicken, dicing onions, green pepper and tomatoes, this is what you need. With a chopping board there is no need to graze your work surfaces.

The pressure cooker

The deep fryer

There is a pan and another net like pan in which you put whatever it is you want to fry. The pan contains the oil and after it is cooked, you pull out the net-like pan. This means that the food is less drenched in oil and you don’t have to put a lot into removing the oil. It’s good for those who enjoy home-made chips or chicken to avoid the unhealthy transformer oils.

A step on dust bin

They are normally metallic with a bucket inside and according to public health unit; these are advised in the kitchen in comparison to any other place. They help protect the food from fruit flies that would otherwise pick germs from exposed rubbish and then transfer it to the food.
