We had lunch here last week. Read to find out what I thought of it.
Business Description: Restaurant located in the Bradford Towne Center next to Kmart in Towanda, Pennsylvania. Specializes in pizza and pasta.
When was I there? Thursday, June 28, 2012 around 3 p.m.
What I liked about this restaurant: My wife is originally from that area and one of her biggest complaints about where we live now is she can’t find the broccoli pizza they serve. And, I have to admit, they did have a decent selection of pizza to choose from, including some I just don’t see where I live.
As far as prices go, I had no complaints. I always thought paying by the slice for pizza was ridiculous. But, this restaurant was at least somewhat reasonable, especially when compared to another, similar restaurant we stopped at on the way home that was about $9 for just two slices of pizza. We paid $14 for four slices of pizza and two drinks.
What I didn’t like about this pizza: I’m sure my wife will disagree with me on this since she does nothing but talk about this restaurant. But, I honestly wasn’t overly impressed with the quality. The pizza was pretty greasy and, other than the toppings, there wasn’t much that was special about it. In fact, I’m fairly certain I could have found roughly the same quality at Little Caesar’s next door.
Final Opinion: This was an OK lunch experience but, despite what my wife will say to the contrary, I just don’t see this as a restaurant that is worth going out of my way to visit.
