No Bake Desserts
It is too hot to bake. Also, there seems to be less time to bake with busy schedules. So, whip up something special quickly without heating up the kitchen! Wrap these little gems, place in a pretty box, add a bow, and you have a gift from the heart for someone special.

NO BAKING NEEDED RECIPES
Chocolate Peanut Clusters
2 packages chocolate chips, 6 ounces
2 packages butterscotch chips, 6 ounces
1 package peanuts, 6 ounces
1 can Chow Mein Noodles, 3 ounces
Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together. (Use microwave to melt the chips as outlined in Fudge Cream recipe.) Add peanuts and noodles. Mix together and drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper. Place in refrigerator until hardened. Store in refrigerator. Finished!
Butterscotch Cookies
3 tablespoons peanut butter
1 (6 oz.) package of butterscotch bits
3 cups cornflakes
1/2 cup coarsely chopped nuts
Melt peanut butter in microwave. Heat it in a shallow dish for 10 seconds at a time, stirring after each 10 seconds. Remove and add remaining ingredients. Mix well and drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper. For variety, substitute chocolate chips for the butterscotch bits. The End!
Fudge Creams
1 package cream cheese, 3-ounces
1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons cocoa
3/4 cup wheat germ
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup chopped nuts
Combine ingredients and roll into balls. Roll balls in powdered sugar. Done!
