A general review of the Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream And Treatery Store, their product, and their staff.
After a recent craving for a sweet treat i stumbled acrossed a little ice cream shop called Maggie Moo’s. Of course i chuckled a bit at the sight of the employees in their pinkand green cow aprons but, their smiles were endearing and their eagerness to help was impressive. They greeted each customer as soon as they walked in with a “Hi and welcome to Maggie Moo’s.” They offered sample tastes of any of the flavors you may be intrested in. And offered ingredients listings for eacho f their unique flavors.
The flavors themselves were intresting as well. From the typical chocolate and dark chocolate to vanilla bean to the brigthest blue cotton candy. Also they carry what the call “Better Batter” which comes in yellow and chocolate. Better Batter is made from their premium ice cream base and Betty Crocker cake mix, nothing else. So, for all of you who like to lick the bowl after making a cake try the better batter. They also carry another cake flavor, red velvet. Their red velvet ice cream has been featured on the food network program Unwrapped. Cheesecake, cinnamoo and a banana made from just banana are also quite impressive.
Then of course you can add all of the “mix ins” you want. All of the toppings you could think of, they mix in with the ice cream right in front of you so you always get exactly what you want. From sprinkles and nuts to candy and cookie pieces to brownies and cake, they have it all. The Maggie Moo’s menu offers ideas but, you can always create your own mixtures.
Overall i was impressed. It was nice to see a company taking pride in the work that they do. And what wasn’t to be proud of? They had a clean enviroment. Product made and made well rigth there in the store. Friendly and helpful staff. Maggie Moo’s will definately be my new sweet treat spot!
