Leftover Magic
Think again before you throw out the leftovers every night. They could save you a little bit of money and some small amount of time.
Ever get the sense when you cook a meal, you cook a little too much, therefore you have some food left over. Obviously it is better to cook a little too much than not enough. There are many people who look at these leftovers with disinterest. After all there does not really seem to be all that much left. So many people throw the leftovers right in the trash. Sadly this is a rather shorted sighted concept, thinking that leftovers are going to be useless just because there is not that much left over.
One Day Might Not Seem Like a Lot, But Many Days Might
Throwing out one day worth of leftover food, yeah that might not seem like that much. Three, four, five days however, that might be enough to feed a medium sized family for one night. A night where you do not have to cook one thing I might add. Leftovers night can be very valuable in a number of ways.
Therefore it is prudent to allocate room for your leftover food inside the refrigerator. You will find out that when adding up those leftovers that were, well left over, you will have enough to get a decent size meal together with various choices. Depending upon what you cooked during the week, you could have some interesting combinations of choices.
Saving Money
People obviously have been asking about ways to save some extra money in these tough economic times. Not throwing away your left over food is rather something that can help a lot with. Think about this, you have one less night(or more potentially) a week to cook. Therefore that is going to less you need to purchase at the grocery store each and every week.
Think of it this way. If you are throwing away leftovers, you might as well be throwing away money. And I doubt many would be doing something like that. Then again, you would be surprised how short sighted people are. That’s beside the point however. What is the point is that leftovers can save you time cooking and can also save you money.
So when you have that extra food leftover tonight and think that it might not be enough, do try and think once again. What might you have after a few more nights, leftover? With the extra food in your fridge, you can perform some leftover magic and make some money disappear off of your grocery bill.

If you have a Snackmaster, leftovers also make good snack pockets. Add tortillas and cheese, and you can have very interesting quesadillas.
