I Don’t Believe It Works!

These are a few ‘cures’ I have tried myself and they work.

I’ve always had dry flakey skin.  In fact, sometimes the skin on my shins resembles fish scales. I’ve slathered all sorts of moisturisers on my body, many so expensive it is sinful.  Althought this one works while I’m rubbing it on, if I don’t slather myself every six hours, back to scales.

Then I met Petroleum Jelly. Yeah, that same old petroleum jelly. 

Get out of the shower wet, use your wet hands. Rub the Petroleum Jelly on your wet body.  Just a little goes a long way.  It holds the moisture in and really works. And it considering the price of it, and how little you’re using, it is unbelievably cheap.

You know you have the same germs in your nose as you do in your mouth. When you feel you’re getting a cold, maybe you start to gargle with an antiseptic mouthwash.  Did you ever think of putting a bit on a Q-Tip and cleaning out inside your nostrils?  I did.  Every time I feel myself stuffing up I instantly use the antiseptic mouthwash on a Q-Tip inside my nostrils.  I sniff it in, and that is it.  I don’t get that cold.

When you start to get a pimple, don’t pick it.  Put a little perfume (aftershave) on it.  The alcohol in the perfume will slowly dry up the bump.  You can be putting perfume on it every hour on the hour, and not only will it slowly dry the bump without leaving a scar, but smell good.

If a bug flies in your ear, instantly put your ear near a light source.  The bug will fly to the light. I’ve seen this happen and it is amazing.
