Tea is a soft drink consumed hot to bring briskness into one’s body and mind. The people who till, toil and work hard anywhere in the world are looking for a tea break in the afternoon following a tiresome schedule of tasks.

HOW TO PREPARE A HIGH TEA IN THE AFTERNOON?

The ideal tea for this afternoon is a blend of Golden Dust, Super Fine Dust and Super Red Dust teas that could release good color and strong taste.

About 20 grams of above’ tea dust blend’ is taken in a conical muslin cloth bag attached around a metallic ring. Hot steaming water from the copper boiler is passed through the dust teas in this sieve.

The reddish golden liquor of about 600 cc is collected in a tea mug. It is then mixed with equal quantity of hot milk and about 120 grams of sugar. The “high tea” is now ready and good enough to give sharp refreshment to 10 people, normally served in glass tumblers or ceramic tea cups.

This afternoon tea is considered a high tea served in high time to trigger high spirit to the hard working community.

EVERY ONE’S HIGH TEA, HIGH IN TASTE

People in every walk of life prefer to take an evening tea without fail. It is customary and also a way of enjoying leisure time after a day of work.

HOW TO PREPARE A HIGH TEA IN THE EVENING?

The “high tea” is prepared by boiling 15 grams of broken orange pekoe tea grains in about 700 cc of milk in a saucepan for about 5 minutes. The tea filtered is mixed with about 70 grams of sugar before serving. The tea made will be of medium color with unique taste of orange pekoe and will be sufficient to 5 of your family.

The tea goes well with some side dishes like sandwiches or cutlets. Some people wish to take deep oil fried vegetable stuffed flour delicacies, while others may go in for small pieces of chicken fries in the evenings.

ROYAL HIGH TEA WITH HIGH SPIRIT

It is all about a Royal tea party with a special kind of celebration with family, friends and business associates in the late evening or early in the night.

HOW TO PREPARE A ROYAL HIGH TEA IN THE LATE EVENING?

A super fine quality of orthodox orange pekoe leaves is used in making this Royal High Tea.

About 30 grams of tea leaves are taken in a ceramic tea pot. Hot steaming water of about 750 cc is poured inside the pot and closed for about 5 minutes. The light orange colored hot liquid gold thus infused is decanted and served in a new tea pot. Sugar and hot creamy milk are kept in separate pots. The dignitaries will mix the high tea on their own or get the help of a bearer.

HIGH TEA SERVED ON A HIGH TABLE WITH SUMPTUOUS DINNER

To your surprise this high tea is served really after a splendid dinner offered on the “high table” in a buffet style with an imperial ambiance. This will last long in the memory of the participating celebrities.
