Grahams Silvanas
Making Silvanas without baking and just using graham crackers.
For this recipe we will be using grahams crackers (chocolate flavor) instead of baking wafer or meringue.
INGREDIENTS:
For cream:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup confectioners or powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
75 g cashew nuts, finely chopped
For base and crumbs:
5 pcs. grahams crackers
1/3 cup grahams crackers, crushed
PROCEDURE:
1. Mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Beat until creamy and well blended. Mix in cashew nuts.
2. Cut graham crackers into desired size of Silvanas.
3. Spread the mixture (cream) on one cut of graham cracker and sandwich it with another cut. Repeat until all graham crackers are done.
4. Spread cream all around the resulting sandwich and sprinkle or roll with crushed graham crackers.
5. Chill and serve.
