Nowadays, the majority of the population doesn’t have time to cook anymore, so it is more easy for them to order food from restaurants or just have a fast food menu between their tight appointments. This makes the obesity rate grow higher and higher every year, and also increases the cases of digestive and cardiac problems.
Basically, the equation is simple. You eat healthy, you stay healthy. Through it may be simple at the first sight, the majority of the population doesn’t have time anymore to go, shop for groceries and spend two or three hours in the kitchen to make themselves a home-cooked meal. It is much easier and faster for them to go at a fast-food and command something that they can eat in five minutes. About the ones that still care a little about their health and weight, they order food from restaurants. This can be a good and bad thing, because some restaurants take their orders seriously,respect the hygiene requirements in the kitchen, and take from fifteen to two hours to make the meal the client ordered, but other restaurants have hygiene problems, their food is not fresh anymore, or they have pre-maid meals and they just heat it up when the order comes in. So, it mostly depends on the seriousness of the restaurant.
The best thing to do is to cook for yourself. Even if you don’t have the time, you can always look for receipes on the internet that can be easily made in fifteen to thirthy minutes. At least, by doing it yourself, you know how the meal was made and, who knows, you might even discover that you have a passion for it!
To cook at home has many advantages for the health, but also a major advantage for the pocket!
