Cranberry Meatballs
An easy slow cooker recipe.
When I first became a wife I began to attempt domesticity. I failed more than I succeeded in the cooking area. My kind, ever encouraging husband refused to tell me when the dish I had prepared was less than satisfactory, instead he would eat it and tell me it was wonderful, which left me wondering what meals he did and did not enjoy. I finally caught on when after finishing dinner he would say, “This is a redo.” Well, my friends, this meatball recipe is very simple and has been “redone” over and over again in my home.
2 lbs. Pre-cooked meatballs (frozen)
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
1 jar chili sauce
3 tbsp. lemon juice
¼ cup brown sugar
Place all ingredients in crock pot (even frozen meatballs). Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. This is a yummy appetizer or good over rice.
