1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

2 eggs

1 cup milk

2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, chopped

1/2 cup raisins

CARAMEL GLAZE

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1/2 cup whipping cream

1 1/2 powdered sugar

Heat oven to 350F Grease and lightly flour 13×9 inch pan. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice and salt; set aside.

In large bowl, beat sugar, shortening and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Bake at 350F for 45-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes.
