The most amazing recipe I’ve found for Brownie’s!
The original recipe for this can be found here: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1223/bestever-brownies
They call it best ever brownies. And they really are. Delicious and gooey, yet not too overpowering. Also not too healthy, but you’re never going to get that with brownies are you!
It’s quite a long process making these, and many bowls and wooden spoons were used during my time baking, but believe me it’s very worth it. I baked them to sell at a cake sale and they were sold out in minutes.
I won’t be writing out the whole recipe again, as this is to draw attention to the amazingness of this recipe, not to steal it, but here’s a list of the main ingredients:
- Cocoa Powder (I used drinking chocolate of a high quality which was fine!)
- Dark chocolate for the brownie mixture
- White and Milk chocolate for cutting into chunks
- Caster Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- Plain Flour
For such a simple list of ingredients, an amazing brownie is created. Some of the more tedious steps in the recipe may also be skipped. You’re told to melt the chocolate and butter over a pan of boiling water, but it’s just as easy to melt in a microwavable bowl for two minutes. If you do this be sure to check regularly and stir, chocolate can burn. You’re also supposed to double sift the cocoa powder and flour. I sifted once but I’m pretty sure the second time would’ve made no difference!
But overall this is a wonderful recipe, and whilst it can take a while it is also relatively simple; lots of mixing and combining ingredients before sticking in a dish and oven baking.
