1000 Views Per Article – in Three Days

In this article I will present you four websites that are great for advertizing recipes! You can get up to 1000 views per recipe, all you need is a mouthwatering photo!

In all these 4 websites you simply sign up for a free acount, and then you can upload a photo of your dish with the link to your article. The views you will get depend on the traffic of the site, and of course your photo. You need impressive, illuminated photos that look really alluring… Photos that catch the eye, because your photo is published in between of other great photos as well…

Foodgawker

http://foodgawker.com/

This probably is the site with the most traffic. They respond in a few hours from your submition leting you know (via email) if your photo has been accepted or declined, and the reason why. If your photo is declined you can take into consideration the reason they give you and try to take a better photo and upload it again. If it is accepted Great!!! You can sit back and watch your views (and earnings) rise for the next days.

I have had three photos published in foodgawker, and each one of them got about 1000 views in the first few days. Even now they stil get a few views every now and then, as they are still on the site, but not in the top of the list, as they sort them by date. The user though can choose a different type of sorting or search a specific type of food.

There is one restriction though. Foodgawker is the only site that does not accept Notecook. I can only submit there some recipes i have that are published in Gomestic. So what i usually do when i upload a new recipe is submit it under the category Domestic instead of Recipes. That increases the chances of having it published in Gomestic, and therefore i can upload it on Foodgawker. Furthermore, for those recipes that are on Notecook, you can republish them on Expertscolumn (even with no picture) or Wikinut and use that link on Foodgawker.

TasteSpotting

http://www.tastespotting.com/

This is also a site with a lot of traffic, but it is harder to upload a photo as they seem to have higher standards. I have had only one photo published here, and i got about 800 views in a few days. They too respond in a few hours from your submition, but they don’t give you much feedback if they decline your photo, so you can’t really know what they didn’t like.

DessertStalking

http://dessertstalking.com/

In this site you can only upload photos of desserts. The traffic is definatelly less than the previous two, but not that bad. Usually they respond within 24h, but for some reason lately they can take up to 5 days, and inform you if your photo was accepted or declined, giving you the reason why if they declined it.

I have had a lot of dessert photos published here, they don’t decline photos that often (as long as they are photos of desserts and they are not too dark). On average you will get about 300 views per article, in a few days.

Photograzing-SeriousEats

http://photograzing.seriouseats.com/

This site will accept almost every photo (i dont think they ever declined anything i submited). But the traffic is not that great. On average i would say about 200 views per article. I don’t know why, but some times they don’t even inform you that your photo has been accepted, you suspect it from the sudden view rise though.

I hope you can find these information useful! Feel free to ask me if you have any questions…
