10 Unique Treats

The good and bad of ten candies with unique properties.
-
Crystal Candy
Because crystal candy consists of mainly sugar, these are ideal treats whenever you acquire a sweet tooth. Unfortunately, crystallized sugar contains little nutritional value, and because it’s a simpler candy, you won’t appreciate the same richness that can be found in a chocolate. Despite this, they take longer to eat, so the pleasure derived from these goodies has a lengthy duration.
-
Andes Mints
A delicate arrangement of chocolate and mint, these tasty treats will delight your tastebuds, and they are perfect for after a meal or anytime you have a craving for chocolate. Unfortunately, their thinness makes them less satisfying than other candies. If you want to try these candies, you won’t be able to have just one.
-
3 Musketeers
Chocolate stuffed with a marshmallow mixture, this candy bar is extremely tasty. The texture is satisfying to the gums, but it lacks the crunch found with peanut-filled treats.
-
Butterfingers
For a more intense flavor, try snacking on Butterfingers. The flavor is unique to other candy bars and a delicious cure for the afternoon nibbles. When you eat these, however, ensure that you limit the intake. If you consume too many, the flavor will quickly disgust you.
-
Gummy Worms
As a unique snack, gummy worms are satisfying to the teeth and tasty at the same time. They’re an ideal garnish to the rims of beverages, and the variety of colors spices up any cake, muffin, or any other bakery good. Like crystallized sugar, however, they’re fairly simple, and they lack the rich flavor of chocolate.
-
Mounds Bar
A personal favorite, this candy consists of coconut surrounded around dark chocolate. Though high in calories, the taste is worth the fattening substance. If you’re a coconut fan, this treat is a must-have. If you’re not, however, steer clear of this delight.
-
Almond Joy
Like the mounds bar, this treat is brimming with coconut, but it consists of an almond, and it’s surrounded by lighter chocolate than the delicious mounds bar. The flavor isn’t as profound as the mounds bar, and as a result, it seems a second-class candy.
-
Dark Chocolate Kisses
Small and tasty, these kisses are richer and more flavorful than the original. If you like chocolate kisses, try this variety. Because they lack sweetness, however, these aren’t for everyone.
-
York Bites
These treats are both cool and refreshing. Because they’re smaller, you can consume several without feeling bloated. Like the Butterfingers, however, the flavor of these can quickly become tiresome. Consume with care.
-
Pop Rocks
If you’re feeling experimental, try pop rocks. They come in different flavors, so you’re likely to find something that you find appealing, and their explosiveness will add some spark to an otherwise dreary afternoon. Unfortunately, these have a tendency to cause pain inside your mouth. Don’t drink with soda.
