Things That Make a Sunny Day Great
Things that Make a Sunny Day Great. Today in Vermont the sky was gorgeous and it was a fun Saturday.
6AM. I’m up. Cats are wanting their food. I rise up from my mattress on the floor. Can hardly wait for my boyfriend to ask me to move in with him someday. And I’ll throw away my mattress. Had a lovely bed frame but it busted. A gorgeous expensive bed frame that wasn’t made very well. Go figure.
Luna and Ella pranced out to the kitchen and I fixed them up their ritual of dry cat food. Yum. Yum. One of them usually eats for a second and comes back to see me as I get ready to head over to the kids house. She wants me to pet her and hear her purr.
My two cats are so loveable. I’m sure they miss me when I’m not there. Hopefully someday they will get along with Tinkerbell and Rascal, my boyfriend’s cats.
So, after I was ready, I headed over to the kids house. My night to sleep over their house. Hopped onto the pc and facebook. Started uploading lots of old family photos onto facebook to share with all my relatives. I had been promising them for a while to share photos of Mom. Everyone misses her. This June it is going to be eleven years since she has been gone. Cancer took her.
So after I did some things, I got my ebay packages to mail out and headed out to the post office. On my way I realized it wasn’t open yet, so I went out in search of my first yardsale. Came across one where it was an estate sale. It was a real estate guy organizing it and he gave us all a number to go into the house for items. He made about thirty of us wait. It was still a little chilly and we all chatted while waiting. Went in and was disgusted at the high prices and left as quick as possible. The woman behind me was disgusted too.
So went to some other yardsales and found some cool stuff. Glitter glue for my girls, a sewing case, and onto other sales. mailed packages! yay! Gone.
More sales. The weather is getting nice and sunny and I was surprised at how many sales there were. The yardsale season is almost into full swing. I love it when I can yardsale pretty much in my own town and drive down one street into the next town and find good sales there too.
