Some newly available movies and TV shows that I have seen on their website are:

Marmaduke (2010) – Hilarious talking dog movie. I have a total weakness for movies with talking animals. My kids watched this movie about 10 times last year when we rented it from the local video store. Starring Owen Wilson.

Date Night (2010) – Steve Carell and Tina Fey play a married couple who get a babysitter and head out for a night on the town. Funny, especially if you have kids and have trouble getting out for a date with your spouse, it is easy to relate to their frustrations.

The Wrestler (2008) – Excellent drama which won Mickey Rourke a Golden Globe award and an Oscar nomination.

Arrested Development, Season 1, 2 & 3 (2003-2005) – Funny TV show that I never had a chance to watch, but I can’t wait to watch all of the episodes on netflix now!

Planet of the Apes (1968 ) –  Charlton Heston stars in this classic, a great addition to this online library of movies.

Kids shows recently added include Fairly Oddparents and the Backyardigans, two of my childrens’ favourite shows. Don’t forget that Netflix.ca also has the first 6 seasons of Spongebob Squarepants. That is enough to keep the whole family busy for an entire rainy week!
