Inside The Secret Life of an American Teenager

I’ve been watching a Fox Family TV series called The Secret Life of an American Teenager on Netflix recently. I really like the show – but, I think it is a horrible show for teenagers and preteenagers to watch. The morals and themes behind the show are just not very good role models. The show likes to take teenage pregnancy and show it in a positive spotlight. The show also highlights a lot of teenage/high school drama.

Given, this is a really great show. It is very dramatic and interesting. There are a lot of great plots and twists in this show. However, I just do not think it is a very good show for teenagers to watch.

I highly suggest NOT letting teenagers watch this show. Especially, not if you haven’t had a serious birds and the bees talk.
