Comcast Customer Service Thumbs Down

How can you hire people from other nations who don’t speak the language of the customers and expect good service for the people who pay into your business every month?

My experience with dealing with a wireless router after installing a wireless network which I always use because you never know once your writing and coming up with new ideas sometimes my mind wonders to another level with everything and this is a good thing in some ways but bad in others, so here is my experience with Comcast, with there new name as if there providing better service but let me bring to your attention what is really going on with business in America slowly we are getting the poorest service, I am so fed up calling with a simple question and I end up getting connected to someone in China, India and I am speaking English and there talking half English and I am trying to just say my name to them and there speaking a another language plus a slight English tongue. For the most part I am sure I am not the only person with this problem. So after speaking with the man on the phone he asked me my name over 5 times, my name is really simple it’s Derrick for someone who can speak English he said my name as if I had spoken in another tongue, I am so furious at this point that I ended up screaming forget the name lets just fix the problem. Now after that I realize my phone call to the 800 customer service number is useless because the phone number was re-routed to another country to some guy sitting in his pajamas and he really was no help at all, for the most part he told me that he could not help me because he specializes in Netgear routers and I had to contact the service people for another company and I am thinking to myself Comcast installed the system I only needed to setup the system myself software because I really don’t trust a stranger touching my machines. So installation guy was fast and on time, but calling customer service it’s a joke with Comcast because no one is getting the customer service jobs all of the jobs are going to some guy with a name I can not even pronounce nor will I try to type it and waste my electricity on my computer. Now don’t get me wrong I love all people but I need to be able to understand what you are saying and you need to understand what I am saying because in America we speak English now Spanish is another accepted language but I only speak English so if your not running a business in India then forget hiring people all over the world business is not business anymore it’s a joke. I am very very very upset about this because had I not had the knowledge to learn that I had to contact the manufacture and speak with a technician over the phone then I would have been lost. Now we all need to secure our networks because people are getting to advanced with computers. I started out with a commodore 64 and had a 1541c floppy drive. Most of you who are reading this don’t even know nothing about this because your to young to know but I am trying let you see I am very computer literate but I am not a translator so American Business owners you need to recalculate your loss’s the customer is more important then sending jobs all over the world and upsetting customers because the person who came to my place spoke very clear and the customer service number was just insane they did not know a damn thing. So Comcast I hope you or your CEO’s get a look at this article and remember your part of the down fall of America and I know I am wrong for saying this you brought this router to me and yet when I call you for service the person on the other side of the line can not even say my name nor spell it, this is a problem nor could he fix my trouble with the router he tells me to call the technician who designed the router. I would have never thought this but America is going down hill fast. We need a swept clean political system because this is one of the problems all the jobs are going out of the country how can the people pay there bills if all the damn work it heading off shore? huh. I know I got to move to India or China and learn a new language, wrong lets start a boycott with Comcast and make sure you forward this story to them because I am not as upset as I was earlier but I am upset because looking at the people who are losing there homes in America and signing up for low paying jobs because there are no jobs now this is insane. We need to create a new agenda because the people who run this country are bringing it to it’s knees.

  6. HAHA. I am not the only one with poor concast experiences. Sorry you had to deal with them but I’m glad you wrote about it.

  8. I used to use them for phone service,cable, and internet. I agree they suck.

  9. One time I was on the phone for an hour trying to install something with someone from India that couldn’t even help. He transferred me to someone in America who told me that I didn’t even need to install the thing…I try to be nice to the Indians but it makes me so mad that we are losing jobs to them so fast.
