  1. Very useful article, Nelson. A very useful article in these troubling economic times.

  2. If you were here I would hug your neck for sharing all of this useful information with me. It has been a struggle for my family and I have been trying anything and everything to save a little bit here and a little extra there. And, your absolutely right, the Internet can save us more money than those traditional offline retailers and services that we all shop at or do business with. Plus, the sheer selection that there is to choose from online is way better.

  3. Great article, we need all the tips and help we can at the moment and with recession looming. i found a cool way to sell stuff on-line for free,

    http://woork.blogspot.com/2008/03/whynotadcom-free-on-line-advertising.html

well at least advertise it for free with a photo images and link to your site, hope it helps, I sold some old things i had laying around in the shed.

    Thanks again for the info.

  4. Nelson, I’m sure you didn’t know this but the Kroger Gift Certificate is a Rip Off. I checked it out and you have to take two offers. The Discover Card would be all right if you wanted a credit card but then, you either have to join Netflix, which again would be all right if you wanted it, or you have to take a Government Grant program which is 49.95 per month. I didn’t check the cost of Netflix so I don’t know how much that would be. $250. in coupons wouldn’t be worth it to me. Besides they have several pages of offers which are already checked “yes” so if you don’t watch out they will get you there.

  5. Great list. I’m liking the gas planner because it can be pretty useful for longer drive vacations. You could simply check the prices of the citys to know when you should fill up, and when you should wait.

  6. This is great. Thank you for all of the useful information.
