What is Real Happiness? Have You Ever Experienced It?

What exactly is real happiness? Before understanding what is  happiness, let us first see what exactly is real love. Real love is something that existed during the initial period of the relationship, it is something existing now  and will exist in future as well.  So, therefore anything that is permanent or imperishable or everlasting is REAL.  Now, do you think the happiness you get from smoking, drinking, money, fame, sex etc  is permanent? Your money may go at anytime, and so as your fame etc. All these pleasures are temporary and definitely not real.

Are you experiencing the real happiness? Some of you may think you are absolutely happy with a decent job/business, adequate bank balance, luxury car, good food, nice house etc.  You may even say, ‘By God’s grace I am leading a happy life’. However there is always a pressure within you either to maintain these comforts of life for ever or get more of them. The fact of the matter is you can never keep all these things constant for ever. One day or other you may lose part of whole of these things. So you and me are not enjoying the REAL HAPPINESS at all.

How to get real happiness:  If you want to get real happiness, you should be able to think beyond these materialistic things. There is something higher than all these worldly things. If you can grow spiritually, you will get the real happiness over time.  How will you attain real happiness when you grow spiritually? You will stop living selfish and self-centered and start to live a selfless life. Your desires aren’t  selfish and therefore you will get the maturity to stay calm during big successes and big failures. Nothing can make you unhappy. In other words, you will start enjoying REAL HAPPINESS at whatever situation you may be.

Summary: Anything that is permanent is real. For example real love is eternal. Likewise, if you want to enjoy the REAL HAPPINESS in life, you need to develop spiritually. Thanks for reading.
